My situation is this; I am once again on a diet but this time, it is just a usual weight loss diet so that I can acclimatise to that prior to embarking on anything more severe.
However, as always seems to be the case with me, my stomach has ballooned. Every time I reduce my refined sugar intake and increase my fruit and veg. intake, my stomach swells up like a balloon. I’m talking pushing out from my ribs, right down to my pubic bone and feeling like only the lack of elasticity in my skin is holding it back from going further. What the hell is this!?! I get this for weeks at a time which is really frustrating and not something that my friends get, (even the ones who know what this ballooning feels like) and it makes it really hard to stay motivated on my diet. Oh, and also pretty tough to dress myself as a good deal of my clothes fail to fit round the bloat!
If anyone has any ideas what I can do to reduce this, please help. I’m pretty sure reverting to my sugar fiend diet is not the way forward and will eventually lead to diabetes which is crazy scary for someone petrified of any type of injection!
That is all for today; just a rant in the hope that my knight is out there with the answer! x
