can anal fistulas be related to bladder infections

I get a bladder infection and then I have this area on my lower butt cheek that flairs up as cellulitis. I initially will get a fever. It itches terribly at first and then feels like a burn. I am seeing a colon specailists due to it is suspected to be an anal fistula. How can the bladder infection and this be related
