I have been having a lot of upper right-sided abdominal pain, some in the left side as well and also into the lower back/flank area, have been very nauseous and gagging a lot, diarrhea, and some heartburn/acid reflux. This started about a month ago, ultrasound of the liver and gallbladder came back negative for gallstones though it did say my liver was enlarged at 20 cm. A HIDA scan had a result of 22% ejection fracture. My pcp referred me to meet with a surgeon to talk about taking my gallbladder out, but i'm worried maybe it's not the gallbladder? What else could this be?
