This morning right before waking up I dreamed I was in some Asian land and the resident Asians had turned into cannibals. Everything was very high tech and modern and they were all very well dressed and they were politely eating tourists. I learned that you could elude them by wearing the proper ugly green shoes which were hidden in convenient places on the streets and in the malls. I also learned that if you smacked them upside the head hard enough they would go away for a little while but you had to run too because they came back with reinforcements.
While evading the Asian cannibals I saw a kitten outside the window playing next to a brook and I decided I had to save it. While there David H. the pianist from Shine, came up and took the kitten from me and kept dunking it in the water. I told him that was a bad idea and he was going to hurt it. “Oh. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry.” He said and then wandered off with my kitten shoved in his sweatshirt. I stood up to get my kitten back and slipped and fell into the brook.
The next thing I knew I was waking up in a rough cabin circa 1930’s furnishings and I heard guitar music. I looked out the window and there were rolling green hills covered with dying brown and green grass and James Earl Jones was sitting in the middle of it all strumming away. “There are no trees here, either?” I asked. “Nope.” He answered, “They’re all gone…” and then he was interrupted by the song Dust In The Wind being sung badly in Asian which woke me up and that part turned out not to be a dream. The song was actually coming out of my clock radio at 5:30 A.M.
