Recently I was dianosed with Diabetes Type 2. The reason I went to the doctor was swelling of my stomache. Found I was diabetic. Am on Amaryl and Metformin.
It is most painful on the left side. Not only does it hurt from the inside but the normal fatty tissue is full of lumps the size of kidney beans. The skin over my belly actually stings when touched, even by material. Ocassionally there is a very sharp pain that radiates around to my back. What the heck is this?
