I'm trying to learn more about the link between type 2 diabetes and heart attacks. Half of all people who have had a heart attack are also type 2 diabetic. A lot of people don't even know that they're diabetic when they have the heart attack! That happened to my friend's dad a few years ago. Luckily, he's doing better now. It's such a struggle for him, though, especially when planning meals.
I'm helping conduct an anonymous survey about the lifestyles of people who have had a heart attack within the past year, but are also type 2 diabetic. The survey is here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/KFKD7P8
If any of you would like to take it, or know someone who would, please feel free to pass it along! Again, completely anonymous. If you choose, you can leave your contact information at the end, but it's optional.
