Sanofi-Aventis announces its SoloStar injection pen for APIDRA has been approved.
The pre-filled, and disposable, pen is approved for use in Type 1 diabetic adults and children of at least four years of age, in addition to Type 2 diabetic adults.
Finally, the patients using the LANTUS SoloStar Pen will be able to also deliver same-brand rapid-acting insulin via the same Pen device.
