urine ketone is at large amout what is the treatment for it?

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       hi my father in law is going for  a blood sugar test and then we found in his urine ketone bodies are present in large amount his age is 64 years and he is a heart patient too he was going trough angieoplasty 8 years ago now the problem is that there is a swelling on his face and foot and we dont know how serious is this and what should we do to take a good care of him plz advice me the best treatment for himof fasting and one more thing his serium creatinine level is 2.4 which is also high plz suggest apropriate treatment i am from a small town in india my location is about 100 km from the national capital delhi so plz tell me who and where is the best treatment is possible for him
