Two days ago my car didn’t want to start early in the
morning.The last two weeks I spent a lot of money on
that car,tune up,new radiator,two new front tires and a
brand new battery.
DH and DS tried to jump start it.My dead duck of a car
endedupbeing towed to the repair shop.They tested all
kinds of things firstbefore finding out there was a crack
on the distributor cap.Theyreplaced it and the car started
instantly.Another bill,$ 250.00 !
Somewhat annoyed I asked the mechanic,didn’t he check
thedistributor cap when he did the tune up.No,they don’t do
that any more,today’s caps are different than the old ones
andlast for ever.Pardon me,my car is 16 years old.
Driving home very angry,the grim look on my face changed
to a big grin when I read the bumper sticker onthe car in
front of me:
“Politicians are like diapers !
They need to be changed often -
and for the same reason.”
