My 18 year old son was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes this past May. He also showed signs of Thyroid Damage so was prescribed Synthroid. Due to the change in routine when he got his insulin pump about 3 weeks ago, he has been forgetting his Synthroid. About 2 weeks ago, he began experiencing pain in his right testicular. Could the malfunctioning thyroid and the testicular pain be related? (He does have an appointment with a urologist next week.)
