Pork Chops with Beer-Mushroom Sauce

Pork Chops with Beer-Mushroom Sauce - 6g Carbs, 1g Fiber

4 1 1/2 inch thick boneless pork center loin chops
2 Tbsp flour
1 Tbsp butter or margarine
4 oz mushrooms, sliced
1/2 tsp thyme
8 oz beer, room temperature

Melt butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high
heat. Lightly flour chops and brown quickly on both sides.
Remove, add mushrooms and thyme and saute 1 minute. Return
chops to skillet, add beer and bring to boil. Cover and
simmer for 12 to 15 minutes.

Makes 4 servings
