Alcohol should be avoided with any antidepressant because alcohol is also an antidepressant. It can slow your system down. Whenever I've drank while on antidepressants, I always get the worst headache the next day, worse than a 'regular' hangover headache without being on medication.
There's a reason why they put the warning labels on the medication- please try to follow for the sake of your health.

I don't drink every evening and when I do drink it's like 1 wine cooler. I've proved to have no strange or dangerous side effects. What are the effects of alcohol while taking Celexa? What effects does Celexa have on my body that might be increased with alcohol consumption?
