why is taking bupropion discouraged if there was a history of bulimia or anorexia?

Hi Aquiros,

I don't have any direct experience with bupropion but I did an online search for your question and the only answers seem to be that bupropion can commonly decrease the person's appetite which would obviously be a concern for someone with an eating disorder. Also bupropion lowers the seizure threshold and people with eating disorders are more likely to seizure. If you do some searching for eating disorders and seizures you will find a lot of information that might help explain it better to you.
