Hi Dada,
I know it's been a while since you asked your question and I hope your Dad is doing better now. If you ever find yourself in a situation where you are worried that someone may hurt themselves or attempt to end their life then you should always call emergency services. Most people do not want to die even when they say they are suicidal, mostly they just want to escape from the feelings that are making them so low. There are also a number of suicide phone helplines and it might be helpful to take note of one near you. Benzodiazipines such as Clonazepam are designed to make the person feel calmer and more relaxed hence why they are prescribed for anxiety. However they should be used with caution with people who have suicidal thoughts as they may make the person feel so relaxed that they lose insight and are too drowsy to see the consequences of attempting suicide.
I really hope your Dad is much better now and that you're doing good as well. Take care :)

He started taking clonazenpam 1 week ago for anexity, and tonight he highlighted his prescription side effects description with being suicidal. He is laying in his room and I am not sure as to what to do.
