Hi I am getting my Master's in Counseling and I have had the same Psychitrist for ten years. He has only given me the diagnosis of Major Depression and recently rule out Bi Polar Disorder. I have been denied Major Medical insurance due to this. I am in peri-menopause and I have told him that alot of my mood fluxuations have to due with hormones and always have throughout my life. I believe that I have Major Depression Sesonal Affect Disorder and not Bi-Polar Disorder. I was interesed in what other Dr's have to say about this.
