The Most Effective Antidote Against Depression is Meditation

Posted Oct 03 2009 6:44am
Learning how to do meditation gives you the ability to really get to know yourself, accept yourself both good and bad, and in that way love who you truly are (no appearances, no facades, just you).  On top of that, meditation gives you the ability to get to know and be able to identify your thoughts as they are entering your mind (thoughts are what result in us having emotional reactions...) So, you understand now how incredibly powerful this can be for any of us that tend to get depressed. I actually participated in the meditation course I describe below and felt so strongly about the benefits I gained from it that I wrote a review of it. You can read it below.

My Review of Living Liberation

Are you stressed out day to day wondering if you will be employed tomorrow? If you’ll be able to pay the mortgage and monthly bills on time? How you will be able to improve your relationship with your spouse, parent, sibling, or child?  When you will meet that significant other that you will share the rest of your life with?

If you can identify with any of these questions or concerns or any others even remotely related, you should take a look at Living Liberation.

What is It?

Living Liberation is a 7 week online meditation course written by Ray Baskerville. The meditation course includes 7 weekly courses in pdf format and in audio format. (I especially liked the audio format mp3s because I could listen to them in the car and at the gym).  It also includes a guided meditation mp3 and bonus meditation guide.

My Personal Review of Living Liberation

I found the meditation course to be an absolutely wonderful project and incredibly insightful. The author managed to explain spirituality and meditation in an easy to understand manner while at the same time giving guided meditation instructions, and a workbook to help you realize just how many changes occur in yourself and your perception of life as you meditate throughout those 7 weeks (remember even 5 minutes of meditation a day can and will make a positive change in your life.)

You can continue reading the whole review by clicking on the link above titled My Personal Review of Living Liberation. I truly hope that this meditation course benefits you as much as it did me.
