The Difference Between Two Countries

Posted Sep 22 2008 10:17am
There was an announcement last week that there would be an election in Canada in mid October. Yep you read that right basically a one month time frame for all of the Canadian election stuff that you can handle. Where as you have the Americans whose election process seems to drag on forever it is quite the polar opposite. Another big difference is the percentage of eligible Canadians who do vote is no where near the actual number who actually use this right to do so. The scary thing is I know more about the American candidates then I do the Canadian. I wonder how many people go to the Canadian polls with the intent of voting for Obama or McCain. I am not very political minded as politics tend to bore the living hell out of me but it is interesting to me the difference in approach of the two countries. Take care.
