With the record breaking searing heat of the last week, it's hard to believe I'm now sitting here in winter pyjamas, socks and a cardigan.
It's also hard to fathom that while hundreds of people in Victoria have died and lost their homes from bush fires, at the opposite end of our country, people are losing their homes too... from floods.
It's so strange.
I'm reluctant to talk about climate change, as I'm not sure I believe it... Clarification - I believe climate change is happening, but I'm undecided as to how much of an impact we are having on that, or how much difference we can really make. Ugh, it's complicated, I could write for hours, so I'll leave it there.
I think the thing that goes really well with a cold day and pyjamas - is chocolate. So I'm also snacking on some Dove chocolates. Yum.
Did I mention that yesterday when I was cleaning, I managed to vacuum up my USB thumb drive? LOL. Luckily it wasn't damaged, but talk about heart palpitations. It's the only one I have and has a lot on it. Luckily though, I also have all my important files backed up at an online storage site, so it would have been okay anyway, but still. One of the craziest things I've done in a while. :)
