Moving... On...

Posted Mar 03 2009 2:08pm
I'm sorry for not blogging sooner. I've had a hard time trying to figure out exactly what to say, so I'll keep this brief.

My hospital admission was a particularly hard one. Bringing up lots of questions about what I need right now. I found out about the death of a friend, made contact with some old friends I hadn't seen in a while, broke down completely, then had a kind of a breakthrough. I don't want to share it because I feel it's personal, and this is even the first time I've actually told someone about my friend's death too.

I don't want to go into it.

Just before I left hospital on Thursday, I made a decision to quit blogging. It's something I need to do right now as my focus and direction is needed in other areas of my life right now.

It's complicated, but I feel this is a positive step.

I want to thank each and every one of my regular readers for sticking with me and sharing my journey, as well as the one time visitors who took the time to write to me and commend my courage and bravery. For all those who wrote to me, thanking me for helping them feel less alone, providing information, dispelling stigma, I thank you too - your words kept me going and touched my heart.

Thank you - everyone.

I will still be around, on Facebook, trawling the blogs, DeviantArt, etc.

I will keep my writing and poetry blog, Listening To Life, for sharing my writings, but not much personal info will be posted there, although I will post something probably every day still. Just creative writing, poetry, etc. It's the only level of sharing I still feel comfortable with. You're welcome to follow or subscribe to the RSS feed.

I am also always available by email at COMPLEXITEASE (at) YAHOO (dot) COM (dot) AU.

Nothing bad has happened, so don't worry.... there haven't been any nasty comments, or whatever that has caused me to make this decision. That's not an issue. It's time to move on.

Please take care.

And THANK YOU.

Always, Jacqui xXx
