How much should I spend per month on mental health therapy?

I am trying to figure out how much per month I should spend on mental health therapy. I have high deductible insurance so would be paying out of pocket for therapy. Costs seem to be about $125-$200 per session in my area, which amounts to $500-$800 / month if I go every week. That seems like a lot of money, and doesn't even count any perscription drugs I might need, or any additional appointments with psychiatrists if I need such drugs. My primary care physician seems happy to prescribe me antidepressants, but I think I need therapy more than pills. Still, it's a lot more affordable to just get a pill and no therapy. What do you think? How much is reasonable to spend on mental health therapy per month?
