I know there was a recall in March 2011 for generic lexapro due to it being incorrectly bottled. The actual tablets were Celexa/Citalopram which is a similar drug to Lexapro/Escitalopram. That is the only reason I can find for the recall and the article I read claimed it was only GENERIC lexapro that was affected.
