you should not experience the withdrawal syndrome should you discontinue taking the drug gradually. If you stop it abruptly, you will always have it - this is one of the biggest drawbacks of all antidepressants. Ask your doctor to adjust the dosage for your needs, eg. reducing it every 2 weeks by a certain degree. Such a scheme can last months but it will keep you safe from feeling bad again.
