Over past 6 months, I have experienced recurring painful "pimples" on tip of tongue, not like normal white pimples, more of a area of "pain" - somtimes with a visible red "ring" around the painful area. Mostly occurs after eating. Havent noted any one particular food. What could be the problem? I looked everywhere on line and cannot find anything like this and I'm kind of concerned.
