That's a good question. Several things can cause this. Do you have amalgam fillings in your teeth? If you do, sometimes you can get that metallic taste if you put things in your mouth that interact with the mercury/silver in the amalgam. Do you have a heart murmur? Sometimes a metallic taste can come from the murmur. It's weird, I know. One time I got a TERRIBLE metallic taste when I was at sea in a HUGE lightning and thunder storm. The air was filled with ozone and it made my mouth taste metallic and bloody! If it is troublesome, see a dentist and see what he/she says.
