I have bumps on both sides of my tongue without pain. The bumps on each side are in exactly the same position and it looks scalloped (but do not match the shape of my teeth). I also have one noticeable swollen gland in the back of my throat (occassional sore throat). I've been to three doctors now and no answers. I was told it was a reaction to pomegranate juice, allergies, and acid reflux. Neither prilosec or allergy meds have helped. Bumps on tongue shrink and then swell again. My white blood cell count is perfect and strep is negative. I am 28 and have seasonal allergies but otherwise healthy. Any ideas on what else this can be, and what else I can ask the Dr.s to check for?
