pain and swelling after removal of palatal tori upper mouth 1 1/2

Posted by dmtalley

I am having a palatal tori removed in upper area of my mouth.  Not sure how long it is but a nice size. Going back towards my throat.  I need new partials and the old ones touch it but not painful.  I am very concerned about the after effects from the surgery.  The pain level which some say is horrible along with swelling and not being able to eat for weeks.  The tissue from the surgery is covered with a stent not sure about that.  I must have this done but I sure hope I get some serious pain medicine I do customer service-talking is my job.  Thank you
