Is There Pain or Discomfort with Implants?

Posted Sep 11 2008 8:00pm

Most of our patients report that they feel very little discomfort during the procedure. We have many options available to us to make sure you feel comfortable during the procedure from headphones, relaxing gas, Wand anesthetic, and even oral/I.V. sedation. Also, when you leave our office, you’ll get a prescription if necessary. Plus we will call to make sure that you are not having discomfort.
Most patient’s actually say that it was far easier to have the implants placed than it was to get the teeth out! Normally the night of the surgery, a prescription medication will control any discomfort, and most patients say that the day after all they needed was some Tylenol or Advil. Our goal is to give you stronger, more comfortable teeth, with practically pain-free dentistry!
