On the first episode It took 3 days to spread from the upper left cheek by the top of my gums to both sides of my mouth then to my throat. I went to emergency room, was treated with steroids and after a few days it seemed to clear.
This is now my 2nd episode and has lasted a week with no swelling of my throat this time but the uncomfortable feeling it leaves behind after swelling decreases. it feels like dry mouth and slightly rash type bumps.
