My husband has had persistent postnasal drip for about 7 months. He has seen an ENT and has received steroids, antibiotics, nasal irrigations, antihistamines, etc., none of which has worked. He has used a mouth appliance for OSA for over a year. He finally had a ct scan of his sinuses and was told that 2 teeth are protruding into the maxilla causing large area of periapical lucency extending to the floor of the maxillary antrum. There is mucosal thickening throughout the ethmoidal air cells. Our GP recommends that the teeth be extracted, but won't say if the appliance has caused this. Please help!!
