Extraction

My Mother is suffering from Dental problem for the past 2 months. She went for a root canal but it didn't work well due to the poor quality of tooth which was never set up. She is a diabetic patient and recently gone for two extractions - one the last molar tooth near the jaw bone and another molar at the lower set. During the extraction of the Molar tooth, there was heavy bleeding and stitches were done. Stitches are cut but the pain is still there. The doctor said that the bone got exposed and it didn't heal so he did a packing kind of this and let it heal. Since, the pain still exists we want to know if we are going through the right treatment.
