Basically the authors tested bond strengths when air drying for different periods of time with different temperatures of air. They concluded that the use of a warm air-dry stream seems to be a clinical tool to improve the bond strength to self-etching adhesives. I don't use self-etch systems but I find this article interesting. I have no clue what the temperature is of the air that comes out of my air-water syringe. I can just see some company latching on to this and trying to sell me a new add-on to my delivery systems. Oi vey...it never ends.
