SYTYCD: 15 Best Routines Ever

Posted Sep 03 2009 1:43pm
Even though I didn't necessarily agree that some of the featured routines on last night's SYTYCD were some of "the best ever", I loved getting to see some of the old seasons again. It was kind of weird, just having Nigel talking to an empty studio, though.

In case you missed it, the dances featured were:
Season 1:
Shake -- Destini and Jamile, choreographed by Shane Sparks
All That Jazz -- Nick and Melody, choreographed by Tyce DiOrio

Season 2:
Black Mambo -- Benji and Heidi, choreographed by Alex de Silva
Why -- Allison and Ivan, choreographed by Tyce DiOrio
Calling You (The Bench Dance) -- Travis and Heidi, choreographed by Mia Michaels

Season 3:
The Hummingbird and the Flower -- Jaimie and Hok, choreographed by Wade Robson
Sweet Dreams -- Sabra and Neil, choreographed by Mandy Moore
Hip Hip Chin Chin -- Danny and Lacey, choreographed by Dmitry Chaplin
Fuego -- Pasha and Lauren, choreographed by Shane Sparks

Season 4:
The Garden -- Mark and Courtney, choreographed by Sonya Tayeh
Bleeding Love -- Mark and Chelsie, choreographed by Napoleon and Tabitha D'umo
Hometown Glory -- Josh and Katee, choreographed by Mia Michaels

Season 5:
Love Is Really My Game -- Brandon and Janette, choreographed by Dorianna Sanchez
Gravity (Addiction) -- Kayla and Kupono, choreographed by Mia Michaels
If It Kills Me -- Jason and Jeanine, choreographed by Travis Wall
This Woman's Work -- Melissa and Ade, choreographed by Tyce DiOrio

The first audition episode of Season 6 airs next Wednesday at 8pm/7pm Central time. SYTYCDism.com has an excellent spoiler list up for S6 auditions and Vegaas Week, but proceed with caution if you don't want to know who got through; it is very thourough.

Stay on your toes,
Selly
