African dance teacher Ngor Jallow, who came to New York seven years ago from Dakar, Senegal, teaches traditiona African dance Saturdays in Yonkers. Classes are equal parts aerobics and artistry. While Jallow is patient and good-humored, the moves don't come easily for everyone. "If you do it once a week, it's too short of a time period, you forget," he said in an interview with The Journal News. "It's really important to do it two or three times a week. In Africa we do it five days a week. That's how we become real artists."
