Dance Dance Revolution

Who ever thought a night out on the town with the girls can actually be good for you? Dancing is a great way to have fun, reduce stress, and get a good workout!

Remember the Dance Dance Revolution craze? There were some people who said they actually lost weight playing the game because they would play for hours and not even realize they were doing cardio. So if your not much of a dancer or don't care for the gym, try Dance Dance Revolution. If nothing else, you will have a good time being silly.

I have it at home on my Xbox. I've been so busy doing yoga training lately that I haven't played in a while but it is a terrific workout. It's also very challenging. The other games I like are the ones where you can ride a surfboard or snowboard. They can also be a good workout (don't have one of those at home though).
The Kid's Club at Natomas Racquet Club offers this for the older kids, seven and up. It looks like a a great workout. All the kids are sweating and look like they have been working out steadily. Yes, they have a great time too.
