A girl named Alice who has been following our story closely got the call a few hours ago that she's going to be getting a new set of lungs (double lung transplant). This could be what we call a "dry run", meaning she could arrive, be prepped for surgery and then be told that the lungs aren't quite the perfect fit for her. Dry runs are hard to deal with, but I'm praying that she wakes up tomorrow with a brand new breath!
Please, take just a few minutes to visit Alice's Blog , maybe post a comment for her, and pray with me all day long today (the surgery typically lasts for 7-9 hours) as she is scheduled for 8:30am EST!
Alice's sister will be updating her blog to let us know what goes down.
