Uninterrupted sleep may be a thing of the past so today I will be thankful for sleep. I am thankful for a warm bed to sleep in with clean sheets and blankets. I am thankful that I have a large enough bed to share and still get restful sleep. I am thankful for the little ones who sometimes make a surprise visit to our bed in the middle of the night (not last night though, that was a rough one).
All in all, I am thankful that my children have good sleep habits (most of the time). They do wake up by 6 am every morning but they never give us problems going to bed.
Two weeks ago, November 3rd, we finally switched Teagan’s crib over to a toddler bed. Jay has been wanting to do it for some time but I figured don’t fix what isn’t broken. Unlike Nathan, she never attempted to climb over and I didn’t want to screw up her good sleeping habits. I am thankful that she stays in her toddler bed (except last night when she showed up near the foot of our bed at 1:30 am telling me she needed help up).
