I’m thankful for a cute little apartment of my very own. Aside from a single dorm when I was an RA, I’ve never lived alone. There are some pretty amazing things about living alone. You can eat ice cream for breakfast with nobody judging you. You can decorate for Christmas whenever you want. You can choose all your own decorations. It’s peaceful and quiet whenever you want. And if you clean it, it stays clean. I’m thankful that my job allows me the luxury of living alone.
I’m thankful for my Crohn’s disease. Maybe this sounds weird to you. If you’ve been around these parts a while, you know I’ve listed all the reasons I’m grateful for my autoimmune disease , which was then diagnosed as ulcerative colitis. There is so much good in my life because of IBD. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Now tell me all yours. Big, little, everything in between. What is topping your list of things your thankful for today?
