what kind of desease is this ?

hy doctor i'm consern because my husband has this symptoms for a long time now dry throat persistant cough,short breath and tiredness ,he did begin to feel this after a cold or flu and after this the symptoms didn't go away anymore he has this for like 1 month and a half what kind of desease is that  ?and what can we use for remedy or medicine m from the caribean,he did go to the doctor but could not get a answer so god bless u if u can ,thank u very much
