My mother has nodules on her lungs and a lot of damage. She has to have a bronchiospy. She is not a smoker. What's wrong with

My Mother barely can talk right now because she is so winded.  She went to a Pulmonary Specialist.  The Doc said if he didn't know any betterm, it looked like TB.  It is related to tb.  She has lots of nodules and her lungs are very damaged.  Part of the lungs aren't functioning.  She will have a biopsy next week.  What is going on?
