June 18, 2008 Busy Day, Meetings-testing-computer work

Photo of the Start line of last Sunday's Stadium Stampede. A fund raising drive for charity for the St, Joseph's Hospital in Denver. Mike in green shirt walking with small high flow tank, and I am pushing my stoller with 2 O2 tanks.
Planning Committee meeting for the Colorado COPD Connections today. Lots to do to put on a Conference...next September 6th. As retired persons we don't mind the driving downtown to the National Jewish Hospital...an hour to and from, and meeting more than an hour, but I find it amazing so many professional respiratory medical persons AND manufacturers reps are able to attend with their busy work schedules...they help assemble a yearly conference for patients.
I spent a few more hours evaluating POC's portable oxygen concentrators for travel. the new Respironics EVERGO 2... fantastically improved, and some treadmill testing of the New updated SeQual Eclipse, also vastly improved. I may get to check out their new cart, to see how well it works from the patient's point of view...this before it is manufactured... I'm having so much fun doing this. It takes hours, but the part testing while on a Treadmill or out walking is so good for me, it keeps the boredom away and I gain some exercise time. I always do testing as a volunteer so I am not 'beholden' to any manufacturers. When I am enthusiastic...it is because I am seriously impressed. If a machine doesn't compare favorably... I make suggestions to the manufacturer.
Finally I loaded into the computer the pictures my husband took of our last event. Just being busy all day was enough exertion for me email@example.com
