August 14, 2008 Help researchers learn more about COPD

Posted Aug 14 2008 10:04pm

Hi everyone...I was away today doing the COPDGene research program today at National Jewish Health Center in Denver. It included a bunch forms and questions to write, then spirometry tests, blood drawn...about 6 vials worth, 6 minute walk test [in which I went 1070 ft.], and finally a CT scan. I was tired from the spirometry blowing...actually 6 of them spread out over an hour or so. Food shopping and spot watering yard. The tomatoes are coming in fabulously now.

Photo is of my husband, Lou, my self, and Mike after our last Half Marathon in Idaho Springs, Colorado. It was taken by the Joint Juice Rep. there and she sent it to me in an e-mail... What a nice shot catching all three of us with winning smiles. My first taste of that "Joint Juice" and I like it especially the lemon flavor, Lou liked the raspberry.
