Another check point for Oxygen users to remember to ask the Airlines
-what is the measurements of the under seat in front of you,
they are all different- some first class seats only have 4" high- not enough for POC’s. they, the machines and spaces vary in depth, width and height. Photos of AMSR & 1st Class Medical Equipment plus mine too.
see the AirSep FreeStyle, Respironics EverGo 2, DeVilbiss iGo, & Caire's SeQual Eclipse 3. tiny-small-short & thick, and tall and slim.
< Know your Portable oxygen concentrator measurements. They come small to very large. You might want the small one under the seat too, it gets hot if against you. This link is for spaces – where they want a dog carrier to fit- well, our POC is our pet that we want to keep close too.www.dogjaunt.com/guides/airplane-under-seat-measurements/
"You can be denied boarding if you don't bring enough batteries to last whatever the airline you are flying requires. If it says 150% of the trip, that is what you MUST bring with you. If you have two legs of the trip, you must bring enough batteries for BOTH legs at the outset and cannot count on charging on the plane or between flights. I've seen harried folks trying to recharge during a stopover/layover & they seemed very stressed. The airline does NOT have to allow you on the plane if you don't have sufficient batteries. You are not doing yourself or anyone else on the plane any favors by trying to scrimp & not being sure if you have sufficient batteries. Sometimes you may even require your POC to be turned up higher than you had planned to keep saturated & that will cut down your battery life. The airplane may need to be re-routed or circle awhile before being allowed to land. Those also take more battery life.
