a slow learner

Posted Jan 31 2012 9:36pm
Hi, Excuse the name I have chosen (Mr Nasty) but that is how this condition gets you sometimes. Those more learned amongst you will tell me that iritability is sometimes due to being depressed. This may well be the case but very few people want to take on the clothing of mental illness. So I, like many others, will continue in our depression and not seek any help. There is help and that often comes in the form of a person that is prepared hust to sit and listen to that depressed person. Listening is known to be therapeutic for many people. I discovered that I had this new title COPD for certain shortly after being admitted to hospital with severe difficulty breathing and chest pain. A short blood test and a diagnostic xray showed that I had blood clots on both lungs. Oh dear I thought, once I had been given the "bad news". The next thing was the decision to start me on a suitable anticoagulent. That process was slowed a little because theyt discovered in my medical notes that a couple of years previous, I had a "brain bleed" This turned out to be a ruptured artereiovenous malformation on the surface of my R. frontal lobe. Maybe the surgery was the cause of my nastyness. Or maybe I use that as an excuse for the bad behaviour. Any way the OK came from Walton Hospital that it was ok for me to have Warfarin. A drug that I am still taking. along with Ventolin 2 puffs when necessary, Symbicort 400/12, One puff twice daily and 2,5 mcgs of Tiotropium soln. inhaled in two medicinal doses once each day. I am going to have to stop at this point because if I dont, I will risk boring a large number of members.
