Connie Bennett, M.S.J., C.H.H.C. is a certified health counselor, life coach, '"Sugar Liberator," former sugar addict, author of SUGAR SHOCK! (Penguin Group), radio host, speaker, journalist, columnist and frequent guest on radio and TV. In 1998, she reluctantly kicked sweets and quickie carbs on doctor's orders, and all of her 44 ailments disappeared, including throbbing headaches, severe PMS, heart palpitations and mood swings. Nowadays, Connie jokingly dubs herself an "Ex-Sugar Shrew," and she helps people around the world to break free of their addiction to sugar, refined carbs, artificial sweeteners and other unhealthy habits.
