Connie Bennett, CHC, CPC, ACC, is author of the book, Sugar Shock (Berkley Books) and the book, Beyond Sugar Shock (upcoming from Hay House). She is a certified health coach, certified life coach, '"Sugar Liberator," former sugar addict, host of the Gab with the Gurus Radio Show, journalist, columnist and frequent guest on radio and TV.
In 1998, she reluctantly kicked sweets and quickie carbs on doctor's orders, and all of her 44 ailments disappeared, including throbbing headaches, severe PMS, heart palpitations and mood swings. Nowadays, Connie jokingly dubs herself an "Ex-Sugar Shrew," and she helps people around the world to break free of their addiction to sugar, refined carbs, artificial sweeteners and other unhealthy habits.
She hosts the Sugar Shock Blog () and the Gab With the Gurus Radio Show (), where she interviews renowned experts in health, fitness, personal empowerment, relationships and social networking.
