what is an alternative approach to solving bloody stools after a colonectomy

Posted by noz

I had hand assisted colonectomy last year in May -- the astamous did not heal and I passed bloody stools.  They re-did the surgery in December with the niti-ring.  Things seem to be going well...until I passed a bunch of blood and since then the pain and bloody stools are constant.  I started taking goat whey and slippery elm...and I see a massage therpatist and am using esstential oils.

I can't go through this again -- I just need to find some way to slow it all down so I can heal.  The doc's response is it is to soon to scope and so it is a wait and see game...

 Any suggestions?
