Weekly Goal — Track Your Success

I’ve discussed before the importance of treating yourself once. Those special treats are also a good way to reach your goals.

I print up a monthly calendar that I keep posted near my desk. Every day that I walk or workout, I highlight a line on the day for each workout that I’ve done. Once I’ve reached a pre-determined number, it’s time for a treat. I call them treat dollars.

With treat dollars, I can buy myself a new pair of pants or get a manicure. It certainly takes the pain out of working out.
