While in the interest of a healthy lifestyle, the focus is on the body. We want to exercise regularly. We want to get in shape. All of these are worthy goals. A healthy body is key to a healthy lifestyle. However, an important piece of the puzzle is missing–brain health.
Your brain is like any other part of your body. To stay in shape, it needs exercise. Exercise, fortunately, isn’t in the form of push-ups or sit-ups. You can exercise your brain with challenges like reading, games, and problem-solving.
Keeping my mind sharp gives me the skill set to tackle other challenges in my day-to-day life. My mind is used to solving problems. It can quickly access a situation and develop solutions. Not only am a taking steps on the road to wellness, but I’m enhancing life skills.
