Try EFT on Everything - Balance Your Energy with Electronics & Electrical Appliances

by Kathy Atkinson

I first used EFT to balance my energy system with electronics while reviewing the material on energy toxins and substance sensitivities on the EFT Video's The demonstration on the videos showed how a person's energy system can be weakened by exposure to, or use of electrical devises in your normal environment.

Feeling drained or out of sorts can be due to an energetic misalignment with your cell phone, landline phone, computer, printer, TV, iPod, etc. I heard Donna Eden, author of Energy Medicine, mention on a video presentation that she was energetically a mismatch to her landline phone, but energetically fine with her cell phone. I found that very interesting.

Appliances, such as your refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, toaster, washer, dryer, etc, can also drain your energy. I certainly don't understand everything there is to know about how our energy systems work and why we are a mismatch to some things and energetically fine with others, but I still find it beneficial to treat myself with EFT for any item that I think could be draining my energy. It definitely doesn't hurt and can help.

Look around your environment and notice how many items are plugged into an electrical outlet or run on batteries. If you are like me, you probably have multiple surge protectors strips, and a drawer full of batteries and battery chargers that are necessary for all the electronics you own.

Balancing your energy system with electronics or electrical appliances is a simple process with EFT. I encourage you to systematically go through your home and work environment, and treat yourself for each item separately.

Here are the steps:
Look at, or touch if possible, the item with which you want to balance your energy.

Set a clear and focused intention to balance, harmonize and align your energy with "this item". (Replace "this item" with cell phone, computer, TV, refrigerator, etc.) Mentally or aloud, state this intention: I intend to balance my energy with "this item" today.

Now, with your free hand, tap on the karate chop point and say:
Even though I may not be an energetic match with "this item", I intend to balance my energy with "this item" today.

Even though I may not be an energetic match with "this item", I intend to balance my energy with "this item" today.

Even though I may not be an energetic match with "this item", I intend to balance my energy with "this item" today.

Now, move to the eyebrow point and tap and repeat...
Eyebrow:
I balance my energy with "this item".
Outside eye: I intend for my body to be energetically aligned with "this item".
Under eye: I release any imbalance I have with "this item".
Under nose: I allow my energy system to come into balance with "this item".
Chin: It feels good to balance my energy with "this item".
Collarbone: My energy system is coming into balance with "this item".
Under arm: Any remaining imbalance I have with "this item" - I release it now.
Top of head: I allow my energy system to come into complete balance and alignment with "this item".

Stop tapping. Take a deep breath in and release it out.

One round of tapping is all that should be necessary, but if your intuition lets you know that you should repeat the sequence, certainly trust that voice. You can also energy check to see how many rounds of tapping are necessary for you. I explained how to energy check in the article Try EFT on Everything - Balance Your Energy with Money. Read it here.

This process only takes a couple of minutes for each item in your home or work environment, so use this EFT sequence to balance your energy with a few items everyday. I would suggest that you start with the items in your bedroom and then notice if balancing your energy with them makes a difference in how well you sleep and how refreshed you feel in the morning.

Here is a checklist to get you started:

Bedroom -
Clock radio, Electric blanket, TV

Kitchen - Microwave, Refrigerator, Toaster, Stove/Oven, Any small appliances

Living Room - TV, VCR, DVD, Stereo, Lights, Remotes

Bathroom - Electric razor, Hair dryer, Curling iron, Electric toothbrush

Electronics - Cell phone, Cordless phone, MP3 player, CD player, Hand held games

Office - Landline phone, Computer, Laptop, Printer, Copier, FAX

Individually, these items may only drain your energy system to a small degree, but collectively they may have large impact on your mood and energy level if you are an energetic mismatch to several items. You owe it to yourself to go through your home and work environment, and balance your energy with the electronics and electrical items that surround you.

Feel free to post your questions, comments or success stories using this process.
