Coconut Oil is a product that I have consistently used in my clean eating arsenal for the past few years. I have tried various brands to find one with the best flavor and most value. Shortly after the Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil arrived, my family and I decided to make one of our favorite dishes, vegetable stir-fry. As, I am a vegetarian and my family is not, I also decided to cook some organic chicken breasts with our meal. I must say that the gold label coconut oil had a wonderful, but subtle coconut flavor straight out of the jar and melted so quickly and clearly, without the usual clouding that I have seen in other brands of coconut oil. Our stir-fry turned out superb, with the Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil adding an extra, favorable flavor dynamic that was not expected. The chicken breast browned beautifully and according to my family, had wonderful flavor profile from the oil. I also made an incredible dressing for a fruit salad that included the coconut oil, pineapple juice and lime juice; with a pinch of cayenne pepper. Truly a winner for a summer treat or to take to a family event. I would highly recommend that this be your coconut oil of choice!
