Traditions In Western Herbalism Conference: News & Updates

ONLY A FEW TICKETS LEFT: 48 hrs. Remaining Before Registration Closes

Register now, if you are still considering attending the 2010 TWH Conference.  Online registration closes at midnight on the 16th TWHC Registration Page

Excitement is building as folks from as far away as New Zealand prepare for the trip to New Mexico and the truly enchanting Ghost Ranch Conference Center, for the first ever Traditions In Western Herbalism Conference.  Volunteers will meet on Thursday to discuss their roles with event manager Resolute, who will be handing attendees their TWHC name tags, books and maps at the Registration Table in the Social Hall building beginning early Friday morning.  Event ally Dr. Blue has provided a high quality sound system for the evening concerts, both Tina and Her Pony and our friends from FlamencoWorldCompany are anxious to perform for you, and word is that dear Leah and Chloe of Rising Appalachia are in route to the site as you read this!

There is no advance signup for classes, simply find out where your preferred presentations are taking place and make your way there on time.  And since it wasn’t possible to preassign buildings this year, it will be essential that attendees pay attention to the announcements at the closing of each class, or ask one of the volunteers where each class is going to be held.  Note that Monica Rude has cancelled her presentation this year, a wise decision to tend her health and home.  She sends her regrets, along with her wish for everyone to have a most wonderful event.

2011 TWHC!

While the 2011 conference was only announced a week ago, more proposals for 2011 presenter slots have come in than there are spaces available!   Already confirmed are the majority of the featured presenters, half of these being returning teachers from this year’s event, and the remaining half will be excitingly composed of some of the most highly respected names in the herbal field… to be announced at the 2010 closing session!  Proposals for regular presenter slots will continue to be considered through early November at least.  Applications are being accepted for Sponsor positions and Vendor spaces as well, and discounted Early Sprout Registration for 2011 will soon open.

Fall Surprise!

And for all of you interested in reading articles on the juncture of herbalism, bodily and planetary healing, stay tuned for a big announcement in late September!  For now, see if you can guess just what TWH and its network of allied teachers and authors are about to release…

Thank you to everyone who have helped network and support the TWHC.  And apologies, but due the demands of the event, no one will be able to reply to TWH and Anima emails between Sept. 16th and 20th.

Green blessings!… from Wolf, Kiva and Family
